TLD Electronic, a China manufacturer and supplier, offers Active Optical HDMI Type-A to Type-A cable with hybrid fiber and copper, up to 100m, 48Gbps, 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, HDR, and EMI/RFI immunity. The thin, flexible cable needs no external power for most lengths. It is designed for AV, signage, and home theater.
The Active Optical HDMI Type-A to Type-A cable from TLD Electronic is built for long-distance AV connections with standard HDMI Type-A male-to-male ports. It combines OM3 multimode fiber for data with copper conductors for power and HDCP/EDID handshake. HDMI 2.1 versions support 48Gbps, 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, HDR, Dolby Vision, and VRR; HDMI 2.0 versions support 18Gbps, 4K@60Hz, deep color, and 3D. The fiber path resists EMI/RFI. Most lengths need no external power; 70–100m runs can use optional USB power. PVC/TPU jacket and metal/ABS housing are available.

Key Features & Benefits
1. Long-Distance Fiber Transmission
Up to 100m without signal loss or latency. Copper HDMI typically fails beyond 10–15m.
OM3 multimode fiber handles high-speed data. Copper wires handle power and HDCP/EDID handshake signals.
4. EMI/RFI Immunity
Stable signal near Wi-Fi, escalators, security systems, cameras, lighting, and MRI/X-ray equipment.
5. Thin, Flexible, Easy Routing
Smaller and lighter than copper cables. Fits ceilings, trays, and narrow conduits. Armored option available.
6. Power Supply
Draws power from the HDMI source for standard lengths. Optional USB power for 70–100m runs or low-power sources.
7. Device Compatibility
Works with HDMI Type-A output devices: 4K/8K TVs, monitors, projectors, PS5, Xbox Series X, PCs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, and digital signage players. Supports HDCP 1.4/2.2.
Application Scenarios
Corporate Boardrooms & Conference Centers
Displays 30m from the source. AOC delivers 4K up to 100m. No boosters or extenders.
Digital Signage & Retail Displays
Malls, airports, hospitals. Resists EMI/RFI. Thin jacket fits narrow conduits. Armored option protects against rodents and impact.
Broadcast & Live Event Production
Stadiums and studios. Stable 4K/8K feeds over 50–100m. Metal connectors support repeated plugging.
Medical & Healthcare Imaging
Operating rooms and diagnostic suites. Resists interference near MRI/X-ray equipment. Compact, easy-to-clean design. Stable long-distance transmission.
Home Theater & Gaming
8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz with HDR over 15–30m. No copper degradation. Flexible cable hides in walls and ceilings.

FAQ
Q1: What is an Active Optical HDMI Cable (AOC)?
A: It uses fiber optic technology to transmit HDMI signals. It converts electrical signals to light at the source connector and back to electrical signals at the display end. This allows up to 100m transmission, immunity to electromagnetic interference, and a thinner, lighter cable than copper.
Q2: What resolutions and refresh rates are supported?
A: HDMI 2.1: up to 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz, 48Gbps, HDR, Dolby Vision, VRR.
HDMI 2.0: 4K@60Hz, 18Gbps, deep color, 3D, HDR.
Q3: Does the cable require external power?
A: No external power is required for most standard lengths. It draws power from the HDMI source via copper conductors. For 70–100m runs or low-power sources, optional USB power input models are available.
Q4: What devices are compatible?
A: Devices with standard HDMI Type-A output: 4K/8K TVs, monitors, projectors, PS5, Xbox Series X, PCs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, and digital signage players. Supports HDCP 1.4/2.2.
Q5: How does TLD ensure quality?
A: 100% optical power testing, full-length resolution validation, EMI immunity verification, and mechanical durability testing. Components come from certified suppliers. After-sales support is provided.
