TLD Electronics is a professional cable manufacturer including SAS Cables in China, providing high-speed interconnect solutions for data centers, enterprise storage, server systems, and OEM projects.
Our SAS cables are engineered for high-frequency data transmission in mission-critical storage environments, supporting multiple connector types including Mini SAS, Mini SAS HD, SlimSAS, and customized cable assemblies. With advanced production capabilities, rigorous high-frequency testing and OEM customization services, we supplies SAS Cables for global server manufacturers, storage system integrators, data center operators and brand customers.
We support different requirements in cable length, connector combination, gauge size, jacket material, color, packaging and branding. Our manufacturing capabilities cover small trial orders as well as large-volume production.
A SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) Cable is a high-speed serial interconnect that transfers data between host devices (servers, RAID controllers, HBAs) and storage peripherals (hard disk drives, solid-state drives, tape drives, storage enclosures). SAS is the evolution of parallel SCSI device interfaces to a serial point-to-point architecture. A SAS physical link consists of four wires configured as two differential signal pairs, enabling simultaneous bi-directional data transmission. TLD Electronics manufactures these cables with precision-engineered twin-axial conductors, multi-layer shielding, and high-reliability connector housings to ensure signal integrity and low insertion loss across SAS 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 specifications.
Different SAS generations use different transmission rates and system requirements. The cable specification should be matched with the controller, backplane, storage device and required transmission performance.

TLD Electronics provides common SAS connector configurations for internal, external and space-constrained storage applications.
SFF-8087 is commonly used for internal Mini SAS connections, while SFF-8088 is used for external Mini SAS connections.
SFF-8643 provides an internal Mini SAS HD interface, while SFF-8644 is used for external applications.
SFF-8654 is used for SlimSAS applications where a compact connector format is required.
7-pin SAS connectors can be supplied for drive-side and compatible storage connections according to the customer's equipment configuration.
For OEM projects, connector combinations can be selected according to the controller, backplane and storage device interfaces.
SAS cable assemblies are manufactured with controlled differential impedance and high-frequency cable structures to support stable data transmission between storage devices and controllers.
Mini SAS, Mini SAS HD, SlimSAS and 7-pin SAS options allow the cable assembly to be matched with different server and storage interfaces.
Individual pair shielding and overall shielding configurations are available to help control electromagnetic interference in dense server and storage environments.
Cable gauge, jacket material and assembly construction can be selected according to routing space, flexibility and application requirements.
TLD Electronics can customize cable length, connector combination, conductor gauge, jacket material, color, overmold, logo and packaging for OEM and private-label projects.

Specific electrical performance should be confirmed against the selected cable length, connector configuration and customer specification.
SAS cables connect storage controllers, HBAs, backplanes and storage drives in enterprise server systems.
Suitable for HDD and SSD storage systems where SAS interfaces are used for data communication between controllers and storage devices.
Used between RAID controllers or HBAs and compatible storage backplanes or enclosures.
Suitable for rack-mounted storage systems where cable routing, connector compatibility and signal integrity are important.
Customized SAS cable assemblies can be integrated into storage appliances, servers and other equipment according to the manufacturer's interface design.
We control the main cable assembly processes from conductor preparation through final inspection.
Twin-axial conductors are prepared according to the required gauge and electrical design.
The selected insulation and jacket materials are processed according to the required flexibility, protection and environmental conditions.
Individual pairs and overall shielding are assembled according to the required electromagnetic and signal-integrity characteristics.
SAS connectors are assembled to the cable and secured with appropriate strain-relief and overmolding structures.
Finished cable assemblies can be checked for continuity, impedance, insertion loss, return loss, appearance and other agreed inspection requirements before shipment.
We supplies SFF-8087, SFF-8088, SFF-8643, SFF-8644, SFF-8654 and 7-pin SAS configurations, with additional connector combinations available for OEM projects.
The choice depends mainly on the interface used by the controller, HBA, backplane or storage enclosure. Provide the connector part number, equipment model or a photo of the interface for configuration review.
Cable compatibility depends on the connector, cable construction, length and the equipment on both ends. The cable should be selected according to the complete system specification rather than the SAS generation alone.
