FAQ
Q1: What makes a zinc alloy shell different from aluminum or plastic shells?
A: Zinc alloy has higher mechanical strength and impact resistance than aluminum, and better corrosion resistance. Its higher density provides more EMI shielding. The electroplated surface resists scratches and repeated plugging/unplugging.
Q2: Is this cable compatible with DisplayPort 1.4 and older devices?
A: Yes. It is backward compatible with DP 1.4, DP 1.2, and DP 1.1. On older devices, it runs at the device’s maximum supported bandwidth.
Q3: How long can the cable be while maintaining 80 Gbps?
A: For UHBR20 (80 Gbps), the recommended length is up to 2 m. For UHBR10 (40 Gbps), up to 3 m. For longer runs, active cables or optical DP options are available. Contact sales for custom lengths.
Q4: How does TLD test this high-speed cable?
A: Each cable is 100% tested for high-frequency signal integrity, including insertion loss, return loss, and crosstalk. Samples are validated on 8K devices. Checks are performed at each production step. After-sales support is available.
